Why Bother Hanging Close Neon Signs?
Many people would think that putting up close neon signs on business establishments is a totally a useless idea. The stores are closed; there’ll be no transactions allowed. So, why bother hanging these signs at all? Well, the answer here is simple. It is for the owner’s and the customer’s convenience.
Business establishments hang neon signs up their storefront windows and these signs are mostly operational 24/7. With the signs left to constantly lit on, there is no immediate way the customers will know whether the store is still open or has closed up for the day. People have the impression that as long as signs are on, the place is still up and conducting business. Using store-bought paper or plastic signs that say “close” couldn’t be seen from afar. People will be required to walk up to the store and sometimes peer through the windows to confirm the store’s open or close situation.
By simply hanging close neon signs, people will instantly see that the business units are not available for conducting transactions or sales at that time. As the signs can be seen from afar, people will not be inconvenienced to get closer to the store. Instead, they can keep going on their way. This is the same for people in their cars. They wouldn’t experience the hassle of looking for parking and getting out of their vehicles only to find that the store they are going to isn’t available after all. Seeing the close sign a few blocks down the road frees them from going through this minor aggravation.
The use of close neon signage can also be practical choice for private practitioners like dentists, lawyers and physicians. Sudden appointments, court hearings or surgical emergencies can come up and they have to leave their private offices. Upon seeing the signs, walk-in patients or clients will be given due courtesy not to wait up and can find other alternatives. If they are more than willing to wait for you, they can just set up an appointment and get back the next day.
